At The Neat and Cozy House, we are a team of one, led by me, Cortny, a passionate organizing enthusiast with a love for creating harmonious living spaces. With a Type-A personality and a keen eye for detail, I am dedicated to helping individuals and families embrace organization and decluttering as a means to simplify their lives and find comfort in their surroundings.

My journey, which began in my 20s, after moving into a small apartment upon marriage, has traversed diverse living spaces, and has shaped my understanding of the challenges and joys that accompany crafting a cozy and organized home. As a mother of an 18-year-old and a 5-year-old, my experiences extend from upsizing to accommodate my daughter within a larger home, to downsizing following a divorce that led me back to my parents’ home. My path continued to a small home, with no basement or attic, purchased a decade ago with my fiancé. Since then, I have had to navigate creative decluttering and organization solutions with the arrival of my son. From accumulating “stuff” in a large house to downsizing and adapting to a smaller space, I have honed my skills in optimizing spaces and maximizing functionality.

Driven by a passion for planning and a commitment to providing organizational ideas and solutions, I bring creativity and practicality to each project I undertake.
